Belarus’s president tells UK to “choke” on sanctions – BBC Information
Belarus’s President Alexander Lukashenko declared that the UK can “choke” on sanctions, in a uncommon televised press convention.
The UK and US are tightening sanctions on Belarus, hitting financial sectors.
When requested by the BBC concerning the newest British measures, President Lukashenko stated: “You may go choke in your sanctions… You might be American lapdogs!”
