Afghans face uncertainty as Taliban rejoice victory – BBC Information
After 20 years of battle, the Taliban has swept to victory in Afghanistan.
It comes after overseas forces withdrew from Afghanistan following a deal between the US and the Taliban, twenty years after US forces eliminated the militants from energy in 2001.
Taliban forces have pledged to not permit Afghanistan to develop into a base for terrorists who may threaten the West.
However questions are already being requested about how the group will govern the nation, and what their rule means for ladies, human rights, and political freedoms.
