Australia lists Koalas as endangered species – BBC Information
Australia has listed the koala as an endangered species throughout most of its east coast, after a dramatic decline in numbers.
The once-thriving marsupial has been ravaged by land clearing, bushfires, drought, illness and different threats.
Australia has been urged to do extra to guard koalas from quickly diminishing habitats and local weather change.
The species was listed as “weak” in these states and territory solely in 2012. Regardless of the fast deterioration, governments have been accused of dithering.
