Nov. 20—Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce will host the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. This event is part of Small Business Saturday.

Businesses and vendors in Clay County will be open with special activities, including a scavenger hunt involving stops at participating businesses. Scavenger hunt winners will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.

There are more than 30 locations listed on the passport and dozens of craft vendors. The paper passport will be available at all locations. Participants will take their passport to the businesses and receive a Christmas stamp from each location. Once they have received a stamp from 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.

In addition to the passport, Thrive West Central has developed a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App that shows all of the participating locations. This will provide participants with an easy map and guide to plan out their day on their phones.

To download the app, search West Central Indiana Trail Map in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.
