Overseas hit squad killed Haiti’s president, police say – BBC Information
A bunch of 28 overseas mercenaries, together with retired Colombian troopers, assassinated Haiti’s President Jovenel Moïse earlier this week, police say.
Most have been detained after a gun battle at a home within the capital Port-au-Prince the place they have been holed up.
Bloodied and bruised, suspects have been paraded in entrance of media on Thursday, together with a slew of seized weapons.
Eight extra suspects are nonetheless on the run and three others have been shot lifeless by cops.
Police say they’re nonetheless trying to find the masterminds behind the assault.
