India’s pandemic claims lives of many academics compelled to run election polling stations – BBC Information
In India as many as 1,600 academics have died from Covid 19 after being drafted in to assist run polling stations throughout native elections in April.

Their union says many begged to be launched from election responsibility, fearing for his or her well being as India’s lethal second wave of the pandemic took maintain.
