Boxer Mike Tyson, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and a former Archbishop of Canterbury – just some of the folks Peter Tatchell has protested in opposition to throughout a lifetime of campaigning for human rights.
Because the activist turns 70, he tells BBC Information in regards to the concern he has felt as he confronted violence and jail time for standing as much as discrimination of all types.
Tatchell plans to maintain campaigning nicely into his 90s, and says he hopes to reside to see “an finish to the residual parts of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in British society”.
