Residents of the Italian metropolis Licata have been sharing footage of a number of waterspouts forming off the coast on Tuesday.
The southern aspect of Sicily has been experiencing extreme climate, together with torrential rain and violent winds.
Officers say a number of ‘whirlwinds’ touched down throughout the area. One man is understood to have died.
A waterspout is outlined as a rotating column of cloud-filled wind that kinds over water. They will journey onto land, the place they’re then often known as a twister.
