50 Cent Issues Diddy Court Warning to Daphne Joy Over Allegations

Rapper 50 Cent has issued a court warning to Daphne Joy after she was named as an alleged sex worker hired by Sean “Diddy” Combs in one of the sexual assault lawsuits filed against the music mogul.

On March 25, producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones amended the lawsuit he had filed against Combs, 54, in February. In it, he claimed that Joy, who shares a child with 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson III), was one of the women allegedly hired as a sex worker for Combs.

The complaint alleges that Combs—who has also been known as Puff Daddy, Puffy, and Brother Love throughout his career—would boast about paying a “monthly stipend” for sexual services to Joy as well as City Girls rapper Yung Miami and model Jade Ramey.

While Joy has denied these allegations, Jackson said he is seeking sole custody of their 11-year-old son, Sire.

Newsweek reached out to Jackson’s legal representatives and messaged Joy via Instagram for comment on Friday.

On Thursday night, the rapper shared a screenshot of an article to his Instagram feed with the headline “50 Cent Reportedly Seeking Sole Custody of Son After Ex Daphne Was Accused of Being Diddy’s Sex Worker.”

He added the caption: “It is what it is [shrug emoji] see you in Family court, sex worker!”

In a follow-up post, he shared a photo of Combs with Joy and wrote: “You moved a mile away in hopes of having another baby with me but I was busy. So you moved back and then you started receiving money from Brother Love. Now here we are, little sex worker.”

Late Thursday night, Joy shared a statement to her Instagram feed refuting the claim that she had been hired as a sex worker by Combs.

“According to Plaintiff Jones, Defendant Sean Combs bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend,” the lawsuit read.

“According to Plaintiff Jones, the women who received these payments are Caresha Romeka Brownlee, aka ‘Yung Miami,’ Jade Ramey, aka ‘Jade,’ and Daphne Joy Cervantes Narvaez, aka, ‘Daphne Joy’ who were paid a monthly fee to work as Mr. Combs’ sex workers.”

Her post read in response: “I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit. The claim that I’m a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”

The model didn’t stop there, criticizing the father of her child in another Instagram post.

“Curtis James Jackson. Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now. You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy and chaos onto people’s lives. How would u feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing,” she wrote.

“We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you saw him 10 times out of the 2 years that we lived 1 mile away from you. I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never earned.”

Joy concluded the post by alleging that Jackson had sexually and physically assaulted her.

“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she wrote. “You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.”

Jackson denied these allegations in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter.

“The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my 12-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire,” the statement reads.

“The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.”

Sire was born on September 1, 2012, making him 11 years old.

In 2013, Jackson pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges after he allegedly attacked Joy in her home in June of that year. Jackson was charged with five criminal counts following the incident: one count of misdemeanor domestic violence, and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism.

Jackson’s attorney later told TMZ that the rapper had worked out a deal with prosecutors to ensure the domestic violence charge was dropped. He agreed to plead no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism instead.

Jackson was sentenced in October 2013 to three years probation and 30 days of community service. He also agreed to attend counseling sessions and pay Joy $7,100 in restitution.

Joy and Jackson dated for two years but broke up in 2012, two months after their son was born.
