The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop advisory for Alaska Airlines on Wednesday, saying in an alert: “All Alaska mainline and subcarrier flights ground stopped.”
The advisory excluded SkyWest, which provides regional service for Alaska Airlines and others.
No reasoning was provided for the grounding.
