President Joe Biden’s campaign slammed former President Donald Trump on Monday for ranking last in a ‘Presidential Greatness’ survey.
The 2024 Presidential Greatness Project expert survey, which ranks presidents from George Washington to Joe Biden, was recently released. The survey was conducted between November 15 and December 31, 2023, by a panel of experts who specialize in the American presidency.
Respondents were asked to rate each U.S. president on a scale of zero to 100 for their “overall greatness,” with zero being failure, 50 being average and 100 being great. The ratings were averaged for each president and then ranked from highest average to lowest.
Abraham Lincoln was ranked first with a 95.03 average, while Trump placed last with a 10.92 average. Meanwhile, Biden ranked No. 14 with a rating of 62.7, placing him in the top third of the list.

In a statement released Monday by Biden’s reelection campaign that had the header “Happy Presidents’ Day! … Unless You’re Donald Trump,” campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz, said, “It takes a lot to be known as the absolute worst in your profession in the history of your country. But Donald Trump managed to do it, and it’s pretty clear why.”
Munoz painted Trump, the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, as a selfish candidate, while portraying Biden as the altruistic Democratic incumbent.
“Donald Trump spent his four years in office working for one thing only: himself. Meanwhile, President Biden wakes up every day fighting for the American people, helping to create more jobs in three years than any president has created in four, and investing in America at record levels,” Munoz said.
The campaign spokesperson said: “The choice in this election is clear: a president who has consistently delivered for the American people or Donald Trump who experts agree might be the worst to ever do it.”
Newsweek reached out to Trump’s and Biden’s campaigns via email for comment.
Meanwhile, Trump has spent his Presidents Day ripping into the U.S. justice system in light of his ongoing legal challenges including four criminal indictments to which he has pleaded not guilty.
He was recently ordered by two separate New York judges to fork up $438.3 million: $83.3 million for a defamation lawsuit filed by writer E. Jean Carroll and $355 million for a business fraud lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James. Trump has maintained his innocence in all criminal and civil cases.
Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Monday, “All political prosecutions of your favorite president, me, must stop immediately. We are in the middle of an election, perhaps the most important election in the history of our country, and these radical left lunatic prosecutors and judges are not allowed to be doing this.”
He said: “This is election interference, and must be immediately stopped. I should not have to go through any fake prosecutions before the election. This is communism, and a threat to democracy. Our country will not stand for it. Make America great again!!!”
