An estimated 50 passengers were hurt on Monday afternoon local time when a flight from Sydney to Auckland, New Zealand, suffered a technical problem.
Chilean airline LATAM, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner’s carrier, said the problem caused “strong movement.”
Approximately 50 people received treated with one in a serious condition, St John, a first responder charity on the scene, told news service Newshub.
