British fighter jet crashes into Mediterranean sea – BBC Information
A British F-35 fighter jet has crashed into the ocean throughout a routine operation within the Mediterranean, the Ministry of Defence has stated.
The pilot ejected and has safely returned to the Royal Navy plane service HMS Queen Elizabeth and an investigation has begun.
The incident occurred at 10:00 GMT over worldwide waters and no different plane have been concerned.
The MoD stated it might be inappropriate to remark through the investigation.
