A Siberian cat called Nimbus has gone viral after his owner revealed the reason why he hates men so passionately, in a clip that has left the internet in stitches.
In the hilarious video, shared on TikTok earlier in March by user @nimbus_siberian, the feline sits quietly on top of a cardboard box when a man suddenly approaches him, and poor Nimbus almost loses it.
As the man comes closer, Nimbus grows increasingly alert, and when he finally pets him on the head, the cat snaps. He meows loudly, quickly moving his head away from the man’s hand before shaking his head off as if trying to rid his fur of the man’s traces.
A caption shared along with the post explains: “Nimbus anytime a man pets him. All because the vet who stole his manhood was a male.”
As much as cats hate it, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) suggests spaying or neutering your feline to prevent issues like unwanted pregnancies for females and territorial fights for males, among others.
Male cats that are not neutered often spray around the house to mark their territory and wander off, engaging in fights with other cats, as well as running the risk of getting hit by a car.
The video quickly went viral on social media, attracting viewers from across Instagram. It has received over 2.3 million views and 494,000 likes on the platform so far.
One TikTok user, @Ladywendi, commented: “I’ve actually seen a lot of cats that are leary of men. I wonder if that’s why I never considered the vet.”
TikToker @user8473780975110 said: “Him screaming with the fragile sign pointing to him makes it so much better.”

A third commenter wrote: “I think the slow mo really magnifies the drama,” and @peppo2020 said: “My raggie ate my speakers after I got him fixed. ‘you take my pride, I’m taking yours.’ Touche cat, touche.”
Commenter @bolsbabyy added: “It’s the cower and shaking his fur for me, he’s like uh oh “he’s gonna put his dirty paw on me.”
