Charlize Theron enjoyed a glamorous night out at the Dior pre-fall fashion show, bringing along a very special guest—her 8-year-old daughter, August.
The event, held on April 15 at the Brooklyn Museum, featured the mother-daughter duo in coordinated stylish outfits. Theron opted for a chic ensemble of a black long sleeve top paired with a tan skirt and gold accessories, including a stunning Dior necklace. She completed her look with black sunglasses and her hair elegantly pulled back into a sleek bun.
August matched her mother’s style, sporting a blue and white letterman jacket, accessorized with a black purse and her hair tied in black and purple braids. The pair were photographed smiling and holding hands as they took their seats in the front row, surely marking a memorable outing for both mom and daughter.

Theron took to Instagram on April 16 to share a recap of her time in New York City with her daughter, captioning the carousel, “We came, we saw, we did it all. NYC you were a treat! ❤️” with the first photo featuring a selfie while drinking soda with her daughter.
This appearance marks one of the few public outings for August, who Theron adopted in 2015. Fashion shows seem to be a favored activity for the actress and her daughters; in September, she was accompanied by her oldest daughter Jackson, 11, to the Dior “Ready To Wear Spring 2024” show in Paris. Jackson was also fashionably dressed, wearing a red and navy plaid dress with a white collar and white sandals.
While the Mad Max: Fury Road actress tends to keep her family life private, she occasionally shares glimpses into her life with her daughters. In March, she posted about their spring break vacation to Disney World on Instagram, captioning the photo, “Spring break mode activated.” Additionally, last summer, the trio celebrated Theron’s 48th birthday at a Taylor Swift concert, where they danced to “Shake It Off.” Charlize posted a video of the event, expressing her gratitude: “Thank you for the best birthday ever @taylorswift!!! We had such a great f–king time.”
