Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky stepped out on the red carpet with their 10-year-old twins, marking a rare appearance from the entire fam.

Twin 10-year-old sons Sasha and Tristan accompanied their mom and dad for the premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in Australia on May 1. Hemsworth, 40, looked sharp in a plaid gray suit paired with a black satin shirt, while Pataky, 47, stunned in a floor-length black lace gown. Their twins matched the occasion looking dapper in black suits paired with sneakers.

The couple, who married in December 2010, have always kept their family life relatively private. Hemsworth has shared in past interviews, including a 2015 Elle interview, how immediately connected he felt to his wife, saying, “From the first time we met, we just made sense. She’s fun. She’s outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try and keep up with.”

Together, the actor and Pataky have three children. They first welcomed their daughter, India, in May 2012 and their twins followed in March 2014. Despite their children’s occasional appearances on screen, Hemsworth is cautious about them pursuing acting careers too early. He expressed his desire for his daughter to enjoy her childhood after her cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder, telling ET Online, “I want her to have a childhood and I think so does she. I said, ‘There’s plenty of time, sweetie. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid.’ Because once the train moves, it’s pretty hard to get off, and you miss a lot of things.”

Reflecting on his own career, particularly the mixed reactions to the aforementioned film, Hemsworth admitted in a Vanity Fair profile posted on April 30 to feeling like he “became a parody” of himself due to the film’s comedic approach. He candidly shared, “I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself. I didn’t stick the landing.”

The self-reflection has led him to believe he owes fans another Thor film to make amends for the previous installment’s shortcomings.
