Celebrated actor and director Clint Eastwood recently made a noteworthy public appearance, highlighting the fact that age is merely a number for him. The 93-year-old was seen at a speaking event by Dr. Jane Goodall in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where he has long resided.

The event, titled “Reasons for Hope,” took place at the Sunset Cultural Center and drew a crowd with tickets priced at $95 each. Dressed casually in a blue checkered flannel shirt, gray slacks, and sneakers, Eastwood exhibited signs of aging but maintained a relatively vibrant demeanor. According to footage obtained from the Daily Mail, he was energetic enough to take the stage independently, though he was accompanied by an assistant throughout the evening.

The March 24 gathering was part of Goodall’s “90th birthday tour,” celebrated just days later on April 3. Eastwood not only attended the event but also had a private backstage interaction with Goodall during a reception for VIP guests. An attendee’s social media post captured a moment between a “very disheveled Clint Eastwood” and the primatologist.
