All dogs love a good cuddle session with their owners, and they may even get mad if they catch you cuddling someone that is not them.

The owner of a sausage, or wiener, dog called Winnie has left internet users in stitches after sharing her pup’s reaction when she cuddled her partner without including the pet. In the hilarious clip shared on TikTok in January, under the username @winn.the.ween, the dachshund can be seen laying on the couch by his owners’ feet, quietly growling as they cuddle each other, leaving her out of it.

The viral post comes with a caption that reads: “When he’s cuddling with me and not her, she makes sure he knows about it.” It is followed by: “If you have a ween, you know!”

All dog owners love their pups unconditionally, but do they love their owners back? The VCA Animal Hospital experts say that they do. The hospital chain’s website adds that part of the canine brain is associated with positive emotions, so they do feel love for their human companions.

There are many signs that prove your dog loves you, but perhaps the most obvious one is their excitement to see you. If your pup pooch jumps or barks or gets overly excited when you step through the door, that’s because they couldn’t wait to have you back home.

Your dog may give you “presents,” try to sleep in the bed with you, or follow you around the house, or maybe the pup is looking at you with loving eyes.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 50,000 views and almost 4,500 likes on the platform.

One user, Becca, commented: “All the ween decor in the back..we know who the queen is.”

Joseph C posted: “It’s all about the highest pitched ‘yap!’ to let you know that your Doxie wants attention. hehehe. I miss my baby boy!”

Coolgaybestfriend wrote: “So much drama for no reason. God I love my weenie.” And TheBeardedLadyBarber added: “Ultimate betrayal.”

Another user, Isa, commented: “This is why I can’t have a wiener.” And GIllian posted: “My two would never notice if the rest of my family never came back.”

Newsweek reached out to @winn.the.ween for comment via TikTok chat. We could not verify the details of the case.
