Rapper-turned-media mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs joined James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke” and left “The Late Late Present” host scratching his head.
After the pair rapped Diddy’s 2001 hit “Diddy” collectively, Corden identified a discrepancy with the lyrics:
“The factor with that tune, it goes, ‘It’s Diddy,’ and the refrain goes, ‘The D, the I, the D, the D, the Y, the D, the I, the D,’ which is Diddydid.”
Corden, who’d earlier talked with Diddy in regards to the a number of monikers he’s used over time, sought an evidence.
However he didn’t get one within the section that aired Thursday, forward of Corden’s remaining week internet hosting the present.
Diddy claimed “you don’t must say the remainder of it” and later recommended they had been “silent letters” on the finish.
