No one likes being insulted, and neither do our dogs. A Rottweiler has recently melted hearts on social media after his owner revealed that he gets offended every time someone calls him a bad boy.

In a video shared on TikTok in February, under the username psycho_frenchie, the dog can be seen chilling on the couch with his owner when out of nowhere she calls him a “bad boy,” causing an unexpected reaction.

As soon as she says bad boy, the pup looks at her in a confused, angry way, as if to tell his mom that it’s not true, and that he’s a good boy instead.

The hilarious clip comes with a caption that says: “He hates when someone calls him bad boy.” The poster also added: “He gets so insulted.”

WebMD explains that dogs are pretty intelligent, in fact they have the intelligence of a 2-year-old child. Among lots of other surprising skills, dogs have the ability to learn to understand speech, and can recognize between 100 and 200 words.

“Dogs might not have a perfect understanding of command words, but they understand the basic sound of important words,” the website explains.

But that is not all, most dogs are also capable of problem-solving, and figuring out the best path to get a reward. Some dogs can also count and do simple arithmetic.

The video went viral on social media, getting millions of viewers on Instagram. It has so far received over 5.5 million views and 1.1 million likes on the platform.

One user, Mmi, commented: “He’s growling like, if you don’t leave me alone! I’m a good boy! lol.” And Maddy McDonald said: “He knows he’s the goodest boy and doesn’t appreciate the gaslighting.”

Vicky wrote: “Take that back RIGHT NOW.” And Hannah added: “My dogs literally put their head downs and roll into a floor like they’re sadness from inside out.”

Another user, 3344556x, commented: “Mine used to cry if we called her bad girl. She had the biggest smile when she was told she was a good girl.” _rangergang_ added: “He like ‘I know damn well you ain’t talking bout me.”
