Internet users have been left divided after Donald Trump was filmed being flipped off while attending a UFC fight in New York on Friday night.

Nia Renee Hill, actor, producer and wife of comedian Bill Burr, was less than impressed at seeing Trump on Saturday night, according to pictures circulating on social media.

During an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event at Madison Square Gardens, New York, Hill appeared to give double middle fingers in the direction of the former president, who is a keen supporter of the UFC.

Trump entered the arena just before the featherweight fight between Diego Lopes and Pat Sabatini. Clips show Trump walking through the seats where Hill can be seen giving him the double bird in the background.

The incident has prompted a mixed reaction on social media, with Trump supporters flocking to support the former president. “Donald Trump walked into an arena that holds 20,000 people and 19,999 people were so happy. And then there was Bill Burr’s wife,” The Post Millennial editor Libby Emmons posted on X, formerly Twitter.

One user, going by the title K11, said Hill was exercising her right to free speech. “This is what free speech is all about! I fought for it, does not mean I have to agree with it! Do your thing young lady.”

Those who aren’t fans of Trump quickly voiced support for Hill’s actions. “She is speaking on behalf of the majority of Americans,” X user Burt Macklin wrote. Another posted: “Nia Renee Hill just made a lot of fans tonight.”

Aside from Hill’s visible displeasure at seeing Trump, the UFC crowd was enthusiastic when the Republican frontrunner entered the arena alongside his son, Donald Jr, Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson on Saturday night. He appeared to be in high spirits despite the ongoing fraud trial regarding The Trump Organization, posing for photos and smiling with his thumbs up for the cameras.

He was fresh from a rally in Claremont, New Hampshire, where he delivered a 2-hour speech at Stevens High School. The Dartmouth reported that the event reached full capacity, with some hopeful attendees being turned away.

Speaking about his current legal issues, Trump told the crowd: “I am being indicted for you. Never forget, our enemies want to take away my freedom because I will never let them take away your freedom. In the end, they’re not after me, they’re after you; I’m just standing in their way.”

He also told his supporters he is the only candidate who could prevent a hypothetical World War III, referencing the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Palestine conflict.

“If you don’t want your nation wrecked; if you don’t want your economy destroyed; if you don’t want American blood or American treasure squandered in a needless global war, you have to vote for a gentleman named Donald J. Trump,” he told the crowd.
