Donald Trump’s ‘Three Embarrassing Losses’ in a Day Mocked by Mary Trump

Donald Trump’s estranged niece has mocked her uncle, saying he suffered a number of losses in just one day.

In a Substack post, Mary Trump said the manner in which former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination, exchanges with the judge in his civil trial in New York and comments made by Democrats at a hearing for Hunter Biden in Congress all turned out to be embarrassing for her relative.

A back and forth between Donald Trump’s lawyers and Judge Arthur Engoron was reported this week in which Engoron repeatedly reminded the former president’s legal team that Donald Trump would be allowed to speak at closing arguments but “may not comment on irrelevant matters.”

Engoron said Donald Trump may not “testify” or “deliver a campaign speech in the court. He added: “In particular, and without limitation, he may not deliver a campaign speech, and he may not impugn myself, my staff, plaintiff, plaintiff’s staff, or the New York State Court System, none of which is relevant to this case.”

Donald Trump’s attorney wrote back that the 45th president could not agree “to the proposed preconditions and prior restraints.”

Kise also said Engoron was preventing Donald Trump from speaking despite him being “wrongfully demeaned and belittled by an out of control, politically motivated Attorney General.”

In New York, Engoron has already ruled Donald Trump and the Trump Organization liable for fraud relating to a suit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James. James’ $250 million suit says the Trump Organization greatly exaggerated the value of some of its assets and deceived lenders in the process.

Mary Trump called the exchange between Engoron and Kise “heated and honestly laughable” and that Donald Trump “can’t handle rules and constraints.”

Christie, meanwhile, dropped his presidential run and continued to slam his Republican opponent, currently far ahead in the polls for the GOP race. Christie has been openly critical of Donald Trump during his campaign.

In his announcement, Christie said: “I am going to make sure that in no way do I enable Donald Trump to ever be president of the United States again.”

On his Truth Social media platform, Donald Trump said of Christie: “I hear Chris Christie is dropping out of the race today — I might even get to like him again!”

Mary Trump said Christie’s comments were a “humiliation.”

Also on January 10, heated exchanges between Republicans and Democrats were heard.

A House Oversight Committee saw verbal sparring between Representatives Nancy Mace and Jared Moskowitz.

Mace called the incumbent president’s son “the epitome of white privilege” and after she was interrupted by Moskowitz, added “Are women allowed to speak?” She also said: “I think that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now, and go straight to jail.”

Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance at the hearing in which the Republican-led committee recommended he be held in contempt of the US Congress. This will go to a vote on the House floor which, if it passes, can be referred to the justice department for possible criminal charges.

Hunter Biden refused to testify in private last year in an impeachment inquiry against his father. Republicans accuse President Biden of profiteering from his time as vice president, but there is currently no evidence he committed any wrongdoing.

Mary Trump said Moskowitz successfully mocked Donald Trump and his supporters, including Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene previously held up nude images of Hunter Biden in the House and he left as she began to speak.

During a break to determine if Greene could introduce evidence from Hunter Biden’s bank statements, Moskowitz held up an image of Trump and pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

Donald Trump was named in a lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, who says Epstein abused her, but has not been criminally charged with any wrongdoing. Previously, Donald Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung said claims over Epstein and Donald Trump’s relationship was “thoroughly debunked” by the release of the documents.

After the chaotic scenes in Congress concluded, Mary Trump appeared to praise Moskowitz’s actions along with fellow Democrat Jamie Raskin, who said Republicans did not have a “single credible piece of evidence.”
