The Dutch crime reporter Peter R de Vries, who was shot and severely wounded in central Amsterdam 9 days in the past, has died.
The 64-year-old was shot within the head minutes after leaving a TV studio.
Mr de Vries had received vital approval for his reporting on the Dutch underworld – together with the 1983 kidnapping of the beer millionaire Freddy Heineken.
The assertion launched by his family members on Thursday stated he died “surrounded by the individuals who love him”.
