Former Yorkshire cricket participant Azeem Rafiq advised a Digital, Tradition, Media and Sport choose committee that racist language was “continuously” used throughout his time there.
In an emotional testimony, he mentioned the membership gave him “inhuman” therapy after his son was still-born in 2017.
He added the problems he confronted at Yorkshire are “and not using a shadow of a doubt” widespread in home cricket.
Rafiq mentioned he had misplaced his profession to racism, which is a “horrible feeling” however that “hopefully” by talking on the market will probably be “huge change in 5 years’ time”.
