Millions have watched a hilarious social media video of a dog wagging his tongue slowly while staring at the person recording him. The viral video, which has been watched by over 50 million users since it was first shared on November 9, captured a dog sitting inside a glass kennel with his tongue hanging out.

Plenty of viewers noted in the post’s comments section that the dog appeared to be under the influence of anesthetics, and his “high” expression has led to plenty of laughs online. However, the creator who posted the video online confirmed that the dog had in fact not been administered anesthetic, and was just expressing himself in the way he usually does.

The video had been posted to TikTok by @Spicy.Spectre, where it has been liked by 7 million TikTokers, but it’s thought that @AnnaTheressaa had filmed the clip. Newsweek reached out to both @Spicy.Spectre and @AnnaTheressaa for comment via TikTok.

Gabby, who goes by @Spicy.Spectre on TikTok, is a 23-year-old veterinary technician. Gabby had shared on the platform that she’s based in Georgia and is training to be a veterinary doctor.

“He just does this for fun,” she said of the dog, while replying to a viewer’s comment.

“You’d think he’s drugged up or something but no. I have so many pictures and videos of him doing this I might make a compilation,” she added.

After being inundated with comments and questions about the dog, Gabby made a second post on TikTok with some further details.

“T is in the hospital with us while he recovers from his surgery. His favorite way to pass the time is licking the windows while staring at everyone,” she wrote under a post that can be seen here.

What Do the Comments Say?

Since it was shared to the social media platform on November 9, the TikTok post has been commented on over 43,000 times. Thousands of TikTokers have gushed over the dog in the post’s comments section.

One user asked: “Why is he licking the glass?”
