Attorney Julian Epstein called on Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to “resign or recuse herself” from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump during a March 28 appearance on The Brian Kilmeade Show.
Epstein, who served as Democratic chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, described Willis’ involvement as “a kickback scheme, where she hired her boyfriend who was then providing her all kinds of benefits.” Willis has faced accusations of ethics violations related to an alleged affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
“This is an utter embarrassment,” Epstein said.
