Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is ready to return to the Senate this week, after a virtually three-month absence as she recovered from shingles, in line with a spokesperson for the senator.

The longtime senator is anticipated to solid a vote as early as Wednesday. That might be her first recorded vote since Feb. 16.

Feinstein — who sits on the Judiciary Committee — has been absent from the Senate since she was identified with shingles in late February. In the course of the months she has been away, Feinstein has missed dozens of Senate votes together with many on the essential Judiciary Committee the place her presence is required to interrupt a tie and transfer President Joe Biden’s judicial nominees to the ground.

Not too long ago, her prolonged absence and its impact on the Judiciary Committee has led some Home Democrats to name for her resignation.
