French Commander accuses UK of “ingratitude” over migrant crossing patrols – BBC Information
Greater than 17,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel in small boats in 2021, that’s double the quantity for all of 2020.
The UK authorities has threatened to withhold hundreds of thousands of kilos in funding from the French authorities until they intercept extra vessels carrying migrants.
However the French commander in control of coastal operations within the Pas-de-Calais area has accused the British of ingratitude and stated he’ll withdraw his patrols if UK cash is withheld.
