From baby refugee to Swedish pop star- BBC Information
A decade after being granted asylum in Sweden, 19-year-old Tousin Chiza is representing his adopted nation on the Eurovision Music Contest in Rotterdam subsequent week.

Tousin – or Tusse, as he is identified in Sweden – was born within the Democratic Republic of Congo. He fled to a refugee camp in Uganda aged 5 together with his aunt, siblings and cousins, and lived there for 3 years till shifting to Sweden aged eight.

“It is an enormous honour for me,” he tells Radio 1 Newsbeat. “It is like the most important thanks I can provide.”
