A video of a woman who was unexpectedly caught in “the most beautiful” moment while posing for a photograph has gone viral on TikTok.
The clip was posted by @alina.ebi and has garnered 2.1 million views since it was shared on February 22. The footage was captured in the Costa del Sol region of the Andalusia community in southern Spain, according to the post.
In a later comment, the poster said the video was taken in “a little village next to Málaga,” a province of Costa del Sol that’s bordered by the Mediterranean Sea.
A message overlaid on the clip reads: “The most beautiful things happen when you least expect them.”
The footage shows a woman standing near an outdoor pool overlooking a coast against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. She adjusts her clothes while looking towards the camera while a counter on the screen counts down from the number three.
As the counter gets down to number one, the woman looks to her left and suddenly sees a flock of birds flying across the sky behind her. She stands in shock, with her hand over her mouth, while looking at the birds and back at the camera before the clip ends.
In a later comment, the poster said: “y’all I can calm u down I did pose but it’s not on video bc [because] I thought everyone’s gonna hate on me for being so gen Z.”
The poster’s serendipitous encounter with bird photobombers in Costa del Sol comes as no surprise as the region is home to several birdwatching hotspots, according to Wild Andalucia, a licensed tour company offering guided bird tours in southern Spain that’s part of the Andalusian Registry of Active Tourism Operators.
According to the company, around 250 species of birds live in or pass by southern Andalusia. Many of the wild birds spotted in Andalusia can’t be seen in the United Kingdom or the Nordic countries.
The woman’s desire to strike a pose against the coastal setting comes as no surprise as among the region’s main attractions are its beaches, according to the tourism website for Costa del Sol and Málaga, which offers 100 miles of coast, running from the villages of Manilva to Nerja.

‘Meant To Be’
TikTokers were amazed by the unexpected scene captured in the viral video.
One user named Luma commented, “What a beautiful moment” and another person, narushka, wrote: “Omgg like s movie.”
User evo2224 said: “Her hand over her mouth is a pretty good pose cus u can see how amazed she was about seeing something so beautiful, very real im obsessed.”
Danyelle de Jager simply said it was “Meant to be” and SPS wrote “Love that.”
