Things are going to get hot in the capital for the next few days.

The warming begins Wednesday, with a high of 32 C predicted, with humidity making that feel like 34 C and a UV Index of 8, or very high.
Environment and Climate Change Canada lists the highest May 31 temperature in history as 32.6 C in 1944, so the record is definitely within reach.
The average high for this date is 21.9 C.
Things are looking even more scorchy for Thursday, with a high of 33 C predicted. Humidity is expected to be about 35 per cent, while the UV Index looks like about 8, or very high.
The weather office says some relief should arrive Friday, as a weather system should be bringing a 40-per-cent chance of cooling showers through the day.
Still, the high is forecast at 31 C.
By Saturday and Sunday, the meteorologists are looking for highs of about 26 C, with clear skies Saturday and mixed sun and cloud Sunday.
While there has been no official heat warning yet health officials recommend hot weather protection measures, such as avoiding over-exertion, stay hydrated, seek shade, wear hats and cover open skin wear possible.
