A dog with an unusual new hairstyle has delighted the internet.
In a video with more than 14 million views, goldendoodle Louis showed off his new look—a goatee. His owner, TikToker @brewer2339, shared the footage of Louis sporting a freshly shaved body with one striking feature left untouched—a long beard.
“My baby had to get shaved but I asked them to save the beard,” they said in the video.
Louis’s unique new look sparked a frenzy of delighted reactions from TikTokers who loved the unusual style.
“Definitely looks like he responds to everything you say with ‘Hell Yeah Brother,'” said Zac.
While NicholeLyn joked: “Why does he look like he’s about to sing Chop Suey?” referencing the System Of A Down song and lead singer Serj Tankian’s distinctive goatee.
Others said Louis’ look reminded them of other things. Like Amanda who joked: “Why does he look like Cornel Sanders?”
While Faith said: “Get him in ZZ Top immediately.”
Goldendoodle dogs require frequent grooming due to their diverse coat types, which range from curly and wooly to straight and wavy.
Their thick fluffy coat needs regular brushing and grooming to prevent matting and tangles. Brushing the coat for 5-10 minutes daily is recommended. They are particularly prone to matting behind the ears, elbows, and genital areas.
Keeping their coats healthy isn’t just about appearance, either. It’s about their health, too, as neglecting grooming can impact their skin health and mean they struggle to keep themselves clean.

Goldendoodle owners should aim to have their dogs groomed every 6-10 weeks to keep them healthy and looking good, although goatees aren’t always required.
In one comment, a dog groomer shared his insight: “15 year groomer here,” wrote Daniel. “Sometimes the dog comes in too matted to do anything ‘fancy’ but I’ve always tried to leave some ‘personality’ like a cool beard or brows and a lion tail. It matters.”
While others suggested maybe finishing Louis’ look with some extra accessories: “He just needs the sunglasses, bike jacket and a couple tats and he will complete the look. lol,” said Melisa.
Ricky agreed and wrote: “Buker leather jacket on him be nice.”
