Responsible of George Floyd homicide: Jury convicts Derek Chauvin on all fees – BBC Information
A jury in Minneapolis has discovered Derek Chauvin responsible of the homicide of George Floyd.
The previous police officer was filmed kneeling on Mr Floyd’s neck for greater than 9 minutes whereas arresting him.
The jury reached its verdict and located Chauvin responsible of all three fees – second diploma homicide, third diploma homicide and manslaughter.
Mr Floyd, an African American, was being arrested in reference to a minor offence. The video of his dying led to worldwide protests towards racism and demanding change.
