Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ultra stylish appearance at a polo match in Florida this month has inspired a number of viral posts, images and videos across social media, coming as the couple recently announced two new high-profile media projects.

Since splitting from the monarchy in 2020, Harry and Meghan have launched a number of media ventures and projects, with the couple announcing on April 11 that they are producing two new docuseries for streaming partner Netflix.

One of the shows will be “curated” by Meghan, focusing on her love of entertaining, cooking and gardening. The other project will be a behind the scenes exploration of Harry’s personal passion, the world of competitive polo.

The couple hit the ground running, appearing at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida one day after the series’ announcement.

The match was held to raise money for Harry’s Sentebale charity, which was co-founded in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to support young people in Lesotho and Botswana, including those affected by HIV and AIDS.

Uploaded to TikTok by user meghmarkle, on April 13, footage of Harry and Meghan confidently striding onto the polo field at the charity event has gone viral, being viewed over 110,000 times on the platform, so far.

Captioned “insanely fine,” the clip shows the couple hand in hand. Meghan wore a chic white halter-neck dress with wrap-front detail from California lifestyle brand Heidi Merrick and Harry sported a classic look of white chinos, a pale blue shirt and neutral blend jacket.

The couple matched, completing their looks with cool pairs of sunglasses.

The video has received in excess of 4,800 likes and numerous comments, many of which have praised the stylish couple’s appearance.

“They look like they just stepped outta a James Bond movie. PERFECTION,” wrote one TikTok user.

“Wow do they look GREAT!!!!” posted another, with a further comment reading: “She looks amazing!! Idk why she said she could only wear neutrals like it was a bad thing. Neutrals with a unique shape is her signature look, and I’m here for it.”

This last comment refers to a statement made by the duchess in her previous docuseries for Netflix, Harry & Meghan, in which she said she wore neutral colors while a member of the royal family to avoid clashing with more senior figures like Queen Elizabeth II or Queen Camilla.

The comment drew some criticism as social media users identified Meghan’s apparent taste for neutral toned outfits pre-existed her time as a working royal, and that she has continued to wear them after her split from the monarchy.

Though Harry and Meghan’s new Netflix projects are said to be in the early stages of production, their titles and release dates have yet to be confirmed, meaning fans could be waiting some time to see the lifestyle and polo series’ hit screens.

During the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in Florida, Harry led his Royal Salute Sentebale team to victory. He was presented with a trophy on-stage by Meghan, who congratulated her husband with a touching kiss.
