Some 500 policemen raided the places of work of pro-democracy paper Apple Every day in Hong Kong, alleging its reviews breached a nationwide safety legislation.
Police additionally arrested the editor-in-chief and 4 different executives at their properties and froze HK$18m ($2.3m; £1.64m) of property owned by three corporations linked to Apple Every day.
The paper is owned by Jimmy Lai, who’s in jail on a string of prices.
