Two cars were cordoned off from the busy commercial parking lot by yellow police tape as police investigated. A bloody jacket lay on the hood of a black Toyota sedan.
Shen, an employee at a nearby business who declined to give his last name, citing safety concerns, said he saw paramedics remove a man with blood on his chest from the black Toyota and take him into an ambulance.
“It feels a bit dangerous,” he said. “We’re used to hearing collisions, the traffic, but we’re not used to so many police being around.”
