Jason Kelce officially retired from the Philadelphia Eagles on March 4, 2024, leaving behind a massive legacy. The former center is a six-time first-team All-Pro, seven-time Pro Bowler, and one-time Super Bowl Champion.

The Eagles finally secured their first-ever Super Bowl championship in 2017, and it was a joyous occasion for the city of Philadelphia, the fans, and especially the players. After spending seven seasons on the team, Kelce finally received the highest NFL honor—a Super Bowl ring.

Fast forward six years later, Kelce has wrapped up his NFL career, but he has plenty more going on. He has become a media darling, especially after launching his New Heights Podcast with his brother, Travis Kelce. Granted, Travis and Taylor Swift’s relationship has helped to bolster the podcast to new heights, but the show has become quite big on its own.

Every episode brings high levels of entertainment, and recently, Jason revealed to his brother Travis that his lone Super Bowl ring has been lost. Even worse, the ring was lost to a ridiculous stunt during a live taping of New Heights, where contestants jumped in large pools of chili to find the said ring.

Jason tells Travis in the above video at the 28:45 time stamp, “I don’t know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event, and they could not find it… that’s Jake and intern Brandon searching through the chili to try and find the sock that had my Super Bowl ring in it.”

Jason goes on to say, “We can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in the Cincinnati Tri-State area.”

While there is no telling if and where the ring may be, the video shows two individuals still searching for it. Jason also reveals the ring may have been accidentally mistaken for garbage and thrown away.

While Jason appears to be upbeat about the situation, Travis begins to shake his head and show a very different response in his facial expressions. This is Jason’s only Super Bowl ring, and it is now possibly in a giant landfill somewhere.

The ring could be worth far more money to anyone who finds it considering Jason is now retired. Someone may have found it and pocketed it, but that is just wild speculation. As it stands right now, the elder Kelce does not have the biggest keepsake from his championship season.
