Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, met Taylor Swift for the first time on Sunday as they all took in Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Division Round game against the Buffalo Bills.
Before the group assembled in their luxury box, Kylie told Jason to be on his best behavior. After all, the couple were not only meeting Travis’ girlfriend, they were meeting one of the most famous people on Earth.
Jason, however, had no intention of being anything other than himself.
“I was like, ‘Kylie, the first day I met you, I was blackout drunk and fell asleep at the bar,'” Jason said on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast. “This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I want to make my best first impression. This is my best chance.”

Travis cackled.
“‘My best first impression is the worst impression ever, so I can just build from there,'” he said.
“Set the bar nice and low,” Jason confirmed.
Before the game, Jason spent time tailgating with Bills fans, and he took a shot out of a bowling ball of an unspecified type of liquor (on New Heights, he noted that if someone hands you a shot at a tailgate, you don’t ask questions).
So by the time the game started and Jason was in the luxury box with Swift, he had already imbibed a significant amount. When his brother found the end zone in the first half, Jason—who was shirtless by this point—leaned out the window of his suite and let out a scream. Shortly afterward, he hopped out the window and briefly joined the crowd. In the background, Kylie could be seen smiling and looking unsurprised by her husband’s antics.
“I don’t think she was happy about it to be honest with you,” Jason said.
“There was one picture, and it was her kind of smiling at it, and kind of for it,” Travis added.
“‘There’s Jason,'” Jason said.
According to Jason, he did give Kylie a heads up that he planned to take his shirt off and jump out of the suite.
“She said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare,'” he said.
Travis offered Jason (and presumably Kylie) some reassurance.
“Well, Tay says she absolutely loved you,” he said.
Travis added that after the game on the field, a reporter asked him about all the action in the suite high above the field.
“I’m like, ‘I have no idea what my brother has been doing all game,'” Travis said. “The reporter told me, and I was just like, ‘I don’t know, you put us Lake Erie guys on Lake Erie, and there’s just something wild.'”
The photo of Kelce leaning out of the suite might get memorialized forever.
“Everybody is saying, ‘Put that thing in the Louvre.’ I honestly might get someone to f****** make that portrait,” Travis said. “That is epic and a moment I will never forget, man.”
Travis and the Chiefs won 27-24, advancing to the AFC Championship Game where they will take on the Baltimore Ravens.
Here’s hoping Jason has recovered from his big weekend on Sunday sufficiently to do it all over again.
