Joe Rogan’s Trump Comment Takes Internet By Storm

Joe Rogan may have changed his stance on Donald Trump, with the UFC commentator proclaiming: “I’d vote for Trump before I’d vote for Biden.”

The declaration is a stark contrast from Rogan’s past remarks about the former president, with the podcaster previously saying: “I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form.”

Rogan slammed Joe Biden during the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience on Wednesday, describing the current cabinet as a “f****** sideshow,” before suggesting Trump was the lesser of two evils.

“The thing with Biden is, he’s gone,” the 56-year-old said. “You know he’s gone. You’re going to be relying on his cabinet, and I knew his cabinet would be this f****** sideshow of diversity.”

Trump and Biden are the presumptive Republican and Democratic candidates for the general election in November.

Trump is running uncontested after his last rival for the Republican nomination, Nikki Haley, dropped out of the primary race earlier this month.

Biden is currently polling at 76 percent, according to polling analysis site FiveThirtyEight, while his only opponent, activist and author Marianne Williamson, is polling at 2 percent.

However, the 81-year-old’s age is an increasing concern for Democrats. A recent poll by The New York Times found that 73 percent of registered voters surveyed feel Biden is “too old” to run the government, including 61 percent of people who voted for the president in 2020.

Rogan previously said he would not have Trump on his show, as he had “no interest” in helping the business mogul.

During an appearance on fellow podcaster Lex Friedman’s show in July, Rogan discussed the deep political divide following the COVID-19 pandemic and Trump’s presidency.

“The Trump era is also going to be one of the weirder times when people look back historically about the division in this country,” he said.

“I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”

However, Rogan also hit out at Biden, claiming that Trump is “running against a dead man.”

“Biden shakes hands with people that aren’t even there when he gets off stage, I think he is seeing ghosts,” he said.

The podcaster was filmed shaking hands with Trump at a UFC fight a few days later, before suggesting he may have the 77-year-old on his show after all.

“It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things,” he told guest Patrick Bet-David during an August episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

“I would like to know, what is it like when you actually get into office? I would like to know things like, what is it like versus perception?

“Like what’s the machine like? What is the deep state really like? Really like?”
