G’day, Bianca Censori. Kanye West’s wife is more than just the rapper’s spouse, architectural designer at Yeezy and a model — she’s also Australian.
While Censori, 29, typically keeps a low profile — instead choosing to express herself in many a headline-grabbing outfit — perhaps it’s not surprising that fans tend to forget the fact that she’s from Down Under, given that they don’t often hear her accent.
That all changed when a video of the designer recently surfaced on social media. In the 2022 clip, she introduces herself at the CFS Summit in Paris as an “architectural designer from Melbourne, Australia … who currently reside[s] in Los Angeles,” noting her employment at West’s fashion brand.
While giving a shout-out to multiple designers at the company, Censori noted that her “passion for architecture lies in fabrication, conceptualizing the future of built space, and exploring the bridge between the physical and the meta.”
In various Reddit threads on the topic, fans were left surprise to hear her natural speaking voice.
“Man it’s so weird that this is the first time I’ve heard Bianca’s voice,” one user wrote.
“Actually did not expect her to sound like this😂,” another Redditor commented.
In what seemed to summarize the main reaction, a third person shared: “I completely forgot shes australian.”

Not only was Censori raised in Australia, she also studied at the University of Melbourne, receiving her Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2017 and her Master of Architecture degree at the same university two years later. Before joining West’s Yeezy brand in 2020, she previously worked as a design consultant and student architect at two different companies. She started her own jewelry business, Nylons Jewellry, in 2013.
West and Censori exchanged vows in December 2022, one month after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized. The controversial rapper and Kardashian were married for nearly seven years — and share four children — before the reality star filed for divorce in 2021.
In the time since, Censori has made numerous headlines for her bold fashion choices, some of which feature controversial looks (and others which people criticize as being too similar to Kardashian’s wardrobe). Others question how much control West has exhibited over his new wife’s wardrobe, which often appears to coordinate with his.
