Kylie Jenner’s Khy clothing brand is being criticized online over a lack of diversity in one of its social media promotions.

The reality star premiered the latest drop of her Khy fashion line on Wednesday. Momager Kris Jenner lent her support to the debut, sharing snippets of the launch shoot to Instagram.

The 68-year-old shared behind-the-scenes photos of Kylie wearing an array of body-hugging outfits, all in neutral shades, along with a video of her pouting for the camera.

As well as posing, Kylie appeared to get creative during the photo session, with snaps showing the 26-year-old adjusting a model’s dress and reviewing images with Kris and a photographer.

“Kylie’s new khy drop is here!” Kris Jenner wrote alongside the reel. “Body-hugging silhouettes, innovative detailing + premium fabrications. available in sizes XXS-4X at khy.com.”

Followers hit out at the Jenners for listing larger sizes in the caption, but not featuring plus-size models in the promo shared by Kris.

“Where is the 4x model then? Hmmmm,” commented Jen Lee.

“Honestly they should have models wearing the bigger sizes,” said Sheila.

“Forget that line on a bigger girl,” wrote Michelle Mowry.

“Yup I can see many women of bigger sizes wearing the tiight and skimpy clothing. Gimme a break. Your c*** is all about YOU!” said Nancy Morin.

“Is 4X really inclusive?” asked Bree Peach. “I personally know people who wear larger sizes. Plus size is not 4X.”

Newsweek has reached out to Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner for comment via email.

However, other users praised the new drop, with Noelle Doherty Hoover writing: “Beautiful line.”

Suzanna M Turner agreed, commenting: “Love these pieces so much. Cool twist on Classics.”

“What a great collection,” said @dubai.luxury.living.

“The size chart XXS-4X is appreciated,” wrote Bailey.

“Thank you for including us plus size women,” said Chrissy Nia. “You are such inspiration to me.”

The Kardashian-Jenner clan are used to causing controversy with their fashion choices.

On Wednesday, Kylie’s older half-sister Kim Kardashian shared a photo of herself in a corset by French fashion house Mugler. Although some fans loved the unusual design—reminiscent of the luxury brand’s signature perfume bottles—others accused the 43-year-old for promoting “unhealthy proportions in women.”

Kim also sparked uproar in 2022, after attending the Met Gala in the sparkly gown Marilyn Monroe wore to sing “Happy Birthday” to John F. Kennedy in 1962.

The iconic dress was reportedly damaged during the outing, causing outrage online, with Kardashian’s admission that she’d lost 16lbs to wear the garment triggering further backlash.

That same year, a photo of Khloe Kardashian appearing to hold black women on leashes resurfaced. The 39-year-old was slammed over the “tone-deaf” Halloween costume, taken in 2003, with fans wondering why the reality star chose to dress “as a pimp.”
