Lara Trump has thrown her support behind her father-in-law, Donald Trump, by dressing up as MAGA Barbie for Halloween this year.
The 41-year-old served as a campaign adviser for the former president after marrying his son Eric Trump in 2014, with whom she has two children. Before joining the Trump campaign, Lara Trump worked as a television producer.
Now she has posted a photo and video of her 2023 Halloween costume on Instagram where she can be seen wearing a MAGA hat as well as a hot pink bodysuit. She completed the ensemble with white socks and trainers while her children dressed up as Mario Kart characters. Their three dogs also joined in on the festivities.
Eric Trump was missing from the family celebrations, which Lara Trump referenced in the carousel post’s caption.
“HAPPY HALLOWEEN from Mario, Princess Peach, MAGA Barbie, a pirate, a race car and a really irritated clown 😂👻🎃 (Dad, @erictrump, isn’t here because of a blood-thirsty, deranged Attorney General, Letitia James),” she wrote.

After he was elected president in 2017, Donald Trump gave his eldest sons day-to-day control of his business. The brothers are scheduled to testify in the New York civil fraud case that may put the future of the Trump Organization in jeopardy.
The lawsuit brought by James accuses Donald Trump and the other defendants of fraudulently inflating the worth of their properties to get favorable insurance and loan deals. Trump and his children have denied any wrongdoing in the case.
As the trial moves into its second month, Donald Trump Jr. is expected to testify on Wednesday and Eric Trump on Thursday. Both men are executive vice presidents at the Trump Organization and defendants in James’ lawsuit. While Donald Trump Jr. has managed the company’s real estate growth, Eric Trump is in charge of overseeing the business’s operations.
People took to the comment section of Lara Trump’s posts to share their support for the family during the trial.
“Praying for the Trump Org to be proven to be innocent on ALL legal counts!! 🙏✝️ Your family looks adorable!!!” one person wrote.
“Wishing health and success to my dear father Mr. Donald Trump and his respected family,” said another.
A third added: “Love. Happy Halloween. Y’all got this.”
However, not everyone was impressed with her post, with some slamming her and her family.
“When you break the law, there are consequences. Your family is no different from the rest of us Lara. The law is the law. The only person you should be blaming is your deranged father-in-law!” one person said, to which another replied: “Preach 🙌 Judge already found them guilty. The trial is for what they will be fined. Can’t wait for the criminal trials.”
Another added: “I thought you were going to dress as Donald Duck. More fitting for you!!”
