A social media video of a small dog waiting patiently for his owner to take him on a walk, after being promised an imminent stroll, has left the internet in hysterics.
The viral video, which has been viewed more than 802,000 times since it was first shared to TikTok on December 18, captured the toy poodle puppy named Milo sitting patiently with his harness and leash firmly on beside the front door while his owner caught up with daily errands.
The pup’s unamused expression, brought on by being placed on hold even though he had been promised a walk very soon, has delighted users across the internet.
The dog’s owner, Mo Jaspers, made light of the short delay. Jaspers wrote across the post: “When mom said ‘let’s go for a walk’ but then she got a text, responded to some emails, went to the bathroom, unloaded the dishwasher so now I’m just standing here for 30 minutes.”
The post had been captioned: “I’m so sorry Milo.”
Although Jaspers created an account just for photos and videos of her dog, Milo features heavily on the young woman’s own feed. The dog owner has even shared her own inventive take on the internet’s “outfit of the day trend,” in a post that can be seen here, where she shows off her adorable dog’s new jumpers and harnesses.

The post has been liked by over 83,000 users and commented on more than 400 times. Plenty of TikTokers have shared their amusement at the viral moment in the post’s comments section.
“Dogs of ADHD moms. We’re sorry,” one user joked.
Another user added: “The repetitive ‘remember’ is too funny.”
“His villain origin story,” said a different user.
“I did this with mine, only it was a treat. ‘Clark, if you come in I’ll give you a treat.’ Then I forgot and he’s still standing by the treat bin,” another TikToker commented.
