It’s that time of year when people like to make changes, and PGA Tour players are no different. With the 2024 season approaching, one of the biggest changes will be caddie moves.

Ian Poulter set off a domino effect when he poached Brendon Todd’s old caddie, David Clark.

That move from Poulter has ultimately caused Cameron Young to lose his veteran caddie, Paul Tesori, per Golfweek. Tesori will be on Todd’s bag in 2024.

Tesori is as seasoned as they come. He spent 12 years working with Webb Simpson before he joined Young. Despite Young seeming to be on the verge of a win, the longtime caddie had to make a choice.

Todd is no slouch. The 3-time PGA Tour winner finished inside the top 50 in last year’s FedEx Cup race. Not to mention, eight of the upcoming signature events will feature the former Georgia Bulldog.

Young hasn’t announced his next caddie, but only time will tell who he chooses to have on the bag in Maui at the Sentry.

He isn’t the only player who made changes this offseason. PGA Tour Rookie of the Year finalist Ludvig Åberg hired a new caddie. The No. 30 player in the world will have Joe Skovron on the bag for 2024. Skovron was with No. 11 Tom Kim before this change.

A week is left until the 2024 PGA Tour season officially starts in Maui on Jan. 4.
