Pastor Julie Green, a self-proclaimed prophet known for her allegiance to the MAGA movement, has predicted an “overthrow” of the U.S. government.
Green, who frequently shares messages she claims are sent from God on her Julie Green Ministries International streaming channels, has a history of controversial prophecies. Her past predictions range from the death of Democratic Representative Nancy Pelosi before the 2022 midterms to the collapse of legal indictments against former President Donald Trump.
In the latest video, posted by Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of the liberal media outlet MeidasTouch, Green delivers a potent message: “My children, the time has come. A time that you have been waiting for. A reinstatement. A shift of power. A new government in control. An overthrow, and a takeover in this nation from the hands of the wicked, to the hands of the righteous.”

She prophesizes a significant upheaval, suggesting a “coup is about to be disrupted and annihilated,” with those involved “exposed and removed.” Her prediction for 2024 is dramatic, hinting at an event that will “shake you loose from the chains that bind you.”
The proclamation continues Green’s pattern of intertwining spiritual prophecy with political commentary. She has been a prominent figure at right-wing ReAwaken America events, sharing the stage with figures like Michael Flynn and Eric Trump. Her close association with the Trump family was proven when Eric Trump appeared on her show, receiving assurances of divine protection for his family.

In her message, Green paints a picture of impending justice and divine intervention in American politics. Her cryptic words, “It will look worse, but remember my words. This means your enemy’s days are running out,” imply a tumultuous but ultimately righteous transformation.

Filipkowski, known for his critical stance on such figures, brought attention to Green’s message on the social media platform X, saying that “Green has received a New Years message from God.”
Green’s latest prophecy about a government overthrow was met with skepticism, with platform users replying with retorts like, “Couldn’t God take care of the hungry and the sick, before speaking to this woman about the White House?” and, “A new coup on top of the old coup? Me thinks she’s coup coup.”
Her messages often spark a mix of support, doubt and humor on social media, which is a reflection of the polarized views of her audience.
