A photo of Marjorie Taylor Greene and a terrified Chihuahua is causing a stir on social media.

Seemingly taken during the 2022 Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, the snap shows the Georgia Representative posing with a young man holding a Chihuahua in his arms.

Although the dog’s owner and Greene—commonly known as MTG—are both smiling in the image, the animal seems petrified, cowering from the camera.

The photo was shared to X, formerly Twitter, by user Ron Filipkowski on Wednesday, where it quickly went viral.

“[The] look on that dog’s face says that he just got into a bad situation,” Filipkowski captioned the post, which has received over 150,000 views.

“OH MY GOD RESCUE THIS DOG !!!” commented Matilda Morgenschoen.

“Those are ‘Please save me’ eyes,” said Marie.

“This dog is clearly traumatized,” wrote @Rene_gadeCowboy.

“I can almost hear it whimpering,” said @Shell57.

“All dogs hate MTG,” claimed @CreamPieorDie.

“Someone rescue that cute pup,” begged Cheryl Schaeffer, while @SVecrumba said: “I know that little guy wants to get the hell out of there.”

Newsweek has reached out to Marjorie Taylor Greene for comment via email and Ron Filipkowski via X.

Filipkowski is the editor-in-chief of the MeidasTouch Network (MTN) website. MTN was initially formed as a political action committee in 2020, with the goal of preventing Donald Trump’s re-election.

Filipkowski, a former federal prosecutor, is an outspoken critic of conservative figures on social media.

In November, he shared a photo of Trump talking to a woman during a party at his Mar-a-Lago resort, captioning the snap: “Beware strange men wandering in the lobby.”

In January, Filipkowski poked fun at the former president following Trump’s New Year’s Eve shindig, suggesting the 77-year-old may have gotten a facelift.

He also recently hit out at Lara Trump, wife of the business mogul’s son, Eric Trump. Filipkowski mocked the 41-year-old’s singing after she released a cover of Tom Petty’s 1989 hit I Won’t Back Down.

Lara Trump’s version of the song caused controversy upon its release in September. Although the track reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales Chart, Petty’s estate had issued a cease and desist letter to Donald Trump after he used the song at a rally.

Greene went viral for another reason on Thursday. U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron called for the U.S. to pledge more funding to Ukraine in its war with Russia, comparing the situation between Putin and the West to its relationship with Hitler in World War II.

When asked about Cameron’s comments, Greene said the British politician could “kiss my a**.”

“I think he tried to compare us to Hitler…,” the 49-year-old Republican told Sky News. “If that’s the kind of language he wants to use, I really have nothing to say to him.”
