Meghan Markle’s half-brother has a YouTube channel which he uses to troll her, and in one post, he said he thinks she is “butt hurt” about it.

Thomas Markle Jr. acknowledged being paid cash tips by followers to his channel “THE REAL THOMAS MARKLE JR and friends” after being criticized by a U.K. lawmaker in British tabloid the Sunday Mirror.

And he appeared to believe that Meghan had put the newspaper up to writing the story while offering no evidence to support this theory.

By contrast, it is one of a number of U.K. titles sued by Prince Harry on historic allegations of phone hacking. The couple also banned their press team from communicating with the Sunday Mirror in 2020 as they began their new lives in America.

In a video watched 20,000 times, Markle Jr. discussed the article, saying: “This morning is a perfect example of some idiot who was butt hurt, alleged idiot, okay, let’s just say alleged idiot, who is butt hurt about my YouTube channel and we all know who that is.

“It’s got to be Meghan Markle because you know she is the queen of the Sussex Squad.”

“Okay so this is Meghan controlling the PR and the narrative again,” he continued. “YouTube doesn’t pay hardly any money, you know. I get paid because I have so many subscribers, real ones not robots.

“I have real subscribers, real people who subscribe to my channel. I didn’t have to pay for those they came automatically so obviously they like what I have to say and they like what I have to produce.”

Past videos have peddled a number of conspiracy theories about Meghan and her family, including children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

In one video, he put on a dark colored wig to pose as Meghan with what appeared to be a cushion stuffed up his T-shirt.

He referred to her as “Me-gain” and described her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, as “American River W**** Orchard.”

News of his videos led to calls for YouTube to toughen up on harmful content, including from a British MP tasked with probing online harm through his membership of the Draft Online Safety Bill (Joint Committee).

Former technology minister Damian Collins told the Sunday Mirror: “The major social media companies must do more to combat harmful content on their platforms, including campaigns of harassment and intimidation.

“They have created systems that have not only allowed conspiracy theories to thrive, but are actively promoted by the recommendation systems designed by these big tech companies.”

Markle Jr. and Meghan share a father but he is 15 years older than her, meaning he was an adult by the time she was three years old.

Meghan has fallen out with both her brother and half-sister Samantha Markle as well as Thomas Markle Sr., from whom she has been estranged since the weeks before her May 2018 royal wedding.

Even back then, Markle Jr. was giving hostile interviews about his sister, and wrote an open letter to Harry reading: “As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history.”

“Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you,” he added, suggesting she was a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”

However, he went on Australia’s Big Brother VIP in 2021 and wrote a new letter apologizing for his past behavior which he read out on air: “I want both of you to know it did not come from the real person that I am, but came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart… I am not a mean person at all, and I have more love inside me to give than anything.”

Markle Jr. said in his latest YouTube video: “Apparently she’s the only one allowed to have freedom of speech. My channel is for entertainment purposes only read, the disclaimer.

“If you don’t like it watch something else, you know, but their main complaint was that I’m making tips on my YouTube channel, making videos about Meghan.

“Well I have a right to talk and speak my mind especially when it’s me and my family who are on the end of this so there’s nothing wrong with what I do.”

“It’s just incredible that this woman thinks that she’s the only one with an opinion,” he continued. “And if anybody talks the truth especially me and my family about her, or whatever, or make light of it or comedy skits or you know sarcasm or you know tough s*** you know. And Meghan I hope you’re watching.”
