Conservative pundit Megyn Kelly did not mince her words when she shared her thoughts on pro-Palestinian protesters at Columbia University.

Slamming them as “little snowflakes” who were “dumb and or unattractive,” the podcast host was less than impressed with their efforts to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Speaking on the most recent episode of her The Megyn Kelly Show podcast and YouTube show, Kelly lashed out at the protesters on campus at the New York City university.

Protesters had set up encampments at Columbia to call for an end to Israel’s military invasion of Gaza which has killed more than 34,000 people. Israel’s retaliatory military campaign came after the militant arm of Hamas launched a surprise attack on October 7, 2023. Hamas killed 1,200 people in Israel and kidnapped around 250.

“The student group behind the encampment posted on social media that the Hamilton Hall had been taken over by a quote ‘an autonomous group of Columbia community members.’ What does that mean?” Kelly began.

“Yesterday, a deadline set by Columbia’s president for the encampment to be disbanded came and went. And now Columbia is vowing to suspend the students inside the encampment, but it seems they want to hand out the punishments in private. So as not to embarrass the little snowflakes.”

Kelly added: “I’m telling you they’re dumb and or unattractive, take it to the bank.”

People reacted to Kelly’s comments when a clip of her show was shared to its official Instagram page.

“These are Americans kids protesting against apathetic genocide, [for] humanitarian [aid] and basic human rights. These kids are not watching what grandparents are watching on their conspiracy theories and propaganda networks. These kids are well read, intelligent and our future. They have a good heart. They see what is going on in Gaza. They want to be on the good side of history. Treat others as you would like to be treated,” wrote @kando2986.

But @tracybee3 feared for parents, “Do these kids have parents??? I’d be out of my mind if my child was doing this on her campus.”

And @rubyz1122 added, “All credit to the amazing students, keep going the world supports you.”

The pro-Palestinian protests which started at Columbia have spread to universities across the country.

U.S. students have faced arrest and expulsion following their actions in support of a ceasefire in Gaza and the divestment of their universities from companies which support Israel.

Since April 18, more than 1,000 people have been arrested at more than 25 campuses in around 21 states, according to CNN, citing university and law-enforcement statements. Pro-Palestinian protesters have also gathered on university campuses in Australia, Canada, France, Italy and the U.K. in recent days.

Some demonstrations have reached even as far as Antarctica.

A photo shared on X, formerly Twitter, by user Shane Loeffler showed the McMurdo Station research center on the southern tip of Ross Island. In the photo, one person is holding a Palestinian flag, and others are seen holding signs reading, “Fund science not genocide,” “Ceasefire,” and “Antarctic workers for Gaza.”

Loeffler captioned the post, “Antarctica is showing up too.”
