All animals are cute, but mini horses seem to have a special place in most people’s hearts.

A pair of the creatures called Bob and Toffy have gone viral on social media after their owner shared their daily bedtime routine. A clip posted on TikTok on Monday, under the username @bobandtoffy, shows the two equines running home as their owner calls them in for the night. She can be heard saying: “Come on, it’s time for bed.”

Despite stopping a couple of times on the way back to their stables, they finally make it indoors, where, after a quick snack and a drink, the mini horses are finally ready to call it a day. The hilarious clip comes with a caption that reads: “Bedtime bob and toffy.” It is followed by: “In before the cold.”

Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo says that miniature horses have large eyes that can give them 360 degrees of vision. Their weight is usually between 150 and 250 pounds, and they can grow as tall as 38 inches.

Miniature horses don’t need much sleep; the zoo says the animals snooze for only about 3 hours a day on average, and for longer in summer than they do in winter.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across Instagram. It has so far received over 378,000 views and more than 16,000 likes on the platform.

One user, user6292538476993, asked: “Can I ask why they don’t sleep together? Not a horsey person so genuinely don’t know, wouldn’t they cuddle up?” And Cadhlamae1 posted: “Nooooo why does Toffee walk like she’s wearing stilettos.”

CatLady commented: “I love them. They’re just so happy and well cared for. I wish all horses were as loved as these two are.” And naominom123 wrote: “Omg [oh my god] how cute are they. their little clip-clop sound is adorable.. and I must say how well-behaved they are too.”

Dawn Walker posted: “With tiny ponies, the sound of their hooves reminds me of little girls with click-clack shoes on.” And TRIXIE added: “I might have to buy a new notepad as it’s full up with all the animals I need and want, so sweet.”

Newsweek reached out to @bobandtoffy for comment via TikTok chat. We could not verify the details of the case.
