Mozambique militant assaults leaving path of destruction – BBC Information
Greater than 2,500 individuals have died and 700,000 have been displaced since Islamist militants started terrorising the north of Mozambique 4 years in the past.

Often called Al Shabab, the fighters have hyperlinks to the Islamic State group.

They function within the Cabo Delgado province, which was residence to Africa’s largest pure fuel mission, run by French firm Complete.

It is near the city of Palma, the place in March, dozens of individuals died after an assault – inflicting Complete to withdraw its employees.

Rwanda has despatched in its forces to assist.
